Who we are
Founded in 2011, Wild Tame is a Tokyo-based international creative agency specializing in multimedia storytelling. Our team of over 25 creatives collaborates with global brands and NGOs to produce content that blends artistic quality with cultural and emotional impact. Our work spans a wide range of projects, including corporate branding, commercial campaigns, documentaries, and behind-the-scenes content for feature films. As a diverse, multicultural team, we place great value on community-rooted production processes and close collaboration with both local and global clients and creative partners.
Why the stories matter
In 2024, the Noto Peninsula was struck by a series of devastating disasters: a 7.6 magnitude earthquake followed by torrential flooding, leaving deep physical and emotional scars across the region. Yet amid loss and uncertainty, communities quietly began to rebuild, supported by a resilient spirit rooted in tradition and connection.
Wild Tame created these documentaries to capture that spirit. They do not simply record the recovery, but also celebrate the people who keep their communities alive. The films highlight the strength found in everyday acts of rebuilding, the importance of preserving cultural identity, and the power of human connection in shaping Noto’s future.
Through these works, we aim to share the present reality of Noto with audiences abroad, fostering international support and promoting tourism to bolster the local economy. By leveraging the strengths of our diverse and multicultural team, we aim to inspire long-term solidarity with the region and contribute to its cultural and economic revitalization.
